The Televideocom Data Center is connected with redundant fiber optic Gigabit/s access to Telecom Italia's backbone and serves as an entry point to the Telecom Italia Wholesale Content Delivery Network. Additionally, it is connected to NAMEX in Rome via an additional dedicated fiber optic circuit.
The Televideocom Data Center is equipped with an air conditioning and refrigeration system that keeps humidity and temperature under control 24/7/365. The entire Data Center is also equipped with equipment and instrumentation that ensure adequate service levels with a guaranteed annual availability of 99.9%.
The entire facility is equipped with an alarm system and closed-circuit cameras for both external and internal video surveillance, as well as armed security service. There is also a physical access control system for the Data Center and a sophisticated fire protection system consisting of fire, smoke, and dust detection, and gas extinguishing systems, in accordance with current regulations.
The Televideocom Data Center is completely free of water pipes to eliminate the risk of flooding.
The “Green Data Center” project was born with the aim of adhering to the principles of sustainable development and has become one of Televideocom's main missions.
