Televideocom Data Center, located in Sassari in Sardinia, is one of the most advanced in Italy for the provision of Hosting and Housing Services.

Connectivity.

Televideocom Data Center is connected with redundant access by Gigabit/s fiber optic to Telecom Italia and Tiscali backs and it is entry-pop to Telecom Italia Wholesale's Content Delivery Network.

 

Service Continuity.

Televideocom Data Center is equipped with an air conditioning and refrigeration system set to keep humidity and temperature control for 365/7/24. It is also provided with equipment and instruments capable of ensuring adequate levels of service. Electrical continuity is ensured by its own electrical box which warranties the production of 800KW, four uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for a total of 240kW and four 160 KW generating sets.

 

Security and defense.

The entire facility is equipped with alarm system and CCTV for both external and internal surveillance, as well as armed security service. There is also a system of control of physical access to the IDC: access registration procedures and identification of staff entering in the name and on behalf of customers, access to system rooms electronically controlled by security procedures with identification and assignment of responsibilities, and recording of material handling. There is an advanced fire protection system consisting of a system of fire, smoke and dust detection and gas extinguishing system in accordance with current legislation. Televideocom Data Center is completely free of water mains in order to avoid the risk of flooding.
